Porto Perfection - Travel diary (Sony A7iii 4K)

Porto Perfection - Travel diary (Sony A7iii 4K)

We travelled to Portugals 2nd largest beautiful city Porto Located on the Douro River and home to port wines, Francesinha and Pastel de Nata. Porto is situated in a valley with the Douro River running through it, It can be hard work getting around but still has many ways of getting around (Trams, taxis and Electric scooters. The River brings in all the Port boats from further along the River, The port wines are barrelled up and stored on the southern banks (traditionally in caves) now in more modern accommodation. There is plenty of stuff to see do taste and drink and our 5 days here was very enjoyable. We did take off to Matosinhos Beach for 2 of the 5 afternoons to visit the beach sit in the sun and also taste some really amazing seafood. Go to any of these if you are a fan of seafood, they cook the fish on grills lining the streets (see 1.44). Tito 1 & 2 are right next door to each other and are the same kitchens but different seating, if you dont get a seat in one try 2. Meia-Nau we had the best king prawns I have ever had. - Restaurante Tito I (https://goo.gl/maps/SokMsurB2T4mk8Qf7) - Restaurante Tito 2 (https://goo.gl/maps/rvsjFZqaPpgZeziFA) - Meia-Nau (https://g.page/meianaurestaurante?share) Things that we did that I would 100% recommend: 1st of dont have breakfast GO HERE: Manteigaria - Fábrica de Pasteis de Nata. Fresh tasty, oozy, sweet, don't be afraid to get 1...2...3...4... At €1 each it is criminal not to (https://goo.gl/maps/e1AytxSWUoNVHZqK7) Luís I Bridge - (https://goo.gl/maps/PPRgwoXDPF2NQUqk6) Miradouro da Serra do Pilar - Go at sunset (https://goo.gl/maps/tEJJj1vKwcY8ffj26) Jardim do Morro - Another great view of the Douro River amazing golden hour spot. Not sure its worth the queues tho. Average €4 - €8 We also took longer journeys out to Matosinhos Beach which only cost €11 for a 13km/20min. Uber offered a very cool option in Porto & Lisbon 'Uber Green'. Offering you travel in electric powered vehicles for the same charges as petrol or diesel vehicles. This needs to be implemented in other cities ASAP! https://www.uber.com/pt/en/ride/ubergreen/ Accommodation: We stayed in an AirBnb, we found most Airbnb's as well as rooms offered on booking.com to be be very reasonably priced at €380 for 5 nights in July. (https://bit.ly/3cBM1tW) Trains: Porto to Lisbon from Campanhã, took around 3h and was €25 it was a comfortable experience that took us right into the heart of Lisbon. Airport to city: - Train takes an Hour and is really confusing -Taxi taxes 15mins and between 2 of you should be around €15 Music: Coming Home by Borrtex https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Borrtex/Distant_Sphere/6_Coming_Home WHAT IS IN MY KIT BAG? Fuerteventura - Sand Dunes (DJI Drone 4K)

Fuerteventura - Sand Dunes (DJI Drone 4K)

These are the beautiful sand dunes in Corralejo, Fuerteventura. It's an amazing experience in this natural park, the road cuts right through the centre and creates this really cool visual. If you would like more info on Fuerteventura please read below or check out my other videos here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLmHOlslj7Y&list=PLnxf_6rPXxS0bxDKwhC3h3IkLWkYC4di6&index=1 We took a trip to explore the beautifully varied Spanish Island of Fuerteventura. Fuerteventura, is part of the Canary Islands off the coast of Northwestern Africa with a flight time of 4.20 (London - Fuerteventura) we found some very reasonably priced flights (£95 return) and with an average temperature of 18 degrees even in January it is a great place to come for sun all year round. Fuerteventura has a very varied landscape from the Dunes and white sand beaches in Corralejo (North), volcanic mountains running through the center of the island. Black sand beaches of Playa Ajuy (West), Crystal blue waters in the Lagoon and of course the stunning view and expansive beach of Cofete (West). We hired a car and started exploring straight away with so many beautiful white/black sand beaches and turquoise seas you want to make the most of your stay on the island. You can drive the length of the island in 1:45h from Corralejo (North) to Morro Jable (South) making the whole island accessible for your stay. I was really impressed with the roads there are many brand new 2 lane motorways being built, the single lane roads can be a bit hairy when you get up the into the mountains but take your time especially at night and you will be ok. We stayed in the North of the Island in Corralejo in an AirBnB (linked below) we picked this town as it seemed to have a good vibe about it, it is small but has everything you need with tonnes of good restaurants and bars (links below) There are so many things to do in Fuerteventura, we just got a taste for the Island and were looking for a relaxing break so spent most of our time soaking in the sun and taking pictures of the beautiful landscapes. If you are excited to get out and do rather than see then you can try your hand at surfing, kite surfing, Kite Hyrofoiling, para gliding, paddle boarding, jet skiing and many other activities. If you are a slower paced kinda doing person to relax there are yoga retreats, culinary experiences, a gin distillery and boat tours to name a few. Car Hire: It is possible to stay on the Island without car hire but the price of €76 for 8 days of car hire (Citroen Cactus) with AutoReisen it just made sense for us to explore at our own leisure. Car hire always feels a bit of a gamble especially when dealing with companies outside of the big names (Europcar, Enterprise, Hertz etc) AutoReisen were really good there was no pressure to add on the expensive excess insurance and smooth and fast pick up / drop off. AutoReisen - https://autoreisen.com/car-hire/car-hire.php Accommodation: AirBnB we stayed in - https://bit.ly/2vyyW0V There are plenty of great options at really good prices across the island. Sardegna - Sardinia North Coast (DJI Aerial 4K)

We had the pleasure of visiting and staying in Sardinias Northern region on a coast named 'Costa Rossa' after its red rock formations that are just breathtakingly stunning.
